The blender, as humble as it may look when idle, is an appliance you can use to prepare a whole lot of fast delicacies that are extremely healthy. In today’s world it’s extremely important to feed your body with the proper nutrients consistently.  You can prepare soups, quiches, smoothies, among other mouth-watering sips and bites. Here are some tasty yet healthy recipes that you should try.

  1. Salmon burgers

Salmon is a lean protein that has many beneficial nutrients, among them proteins and essential fats. It is a recommended seafood, especially for people who are struggling to shed off some pounds.

  • 1 pound of skinned salmon fillet, cut into several chunks
  • 3 ounces of smoked salmon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of watercress
  • A teaspoon of lemon zest
  • 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of virgin olive oil

Put the olive oil aside and blend the other ingredients. Rave the blender until just combined; let it be chunky. Separate the mixture into 4 patties.

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Slide the patties into the heated skillet and cook for 10 minutes (5 on each side) until heated evenly all through. Serve it on buns and enjoy the paradise you just prepared.

  1. Swiss chard egg pie

The egg white is well known for its numerous health benefits, providing lots of minerals and nutrients such as essential proteins. You should use eggs when trying to lose weight and also regularly to strengthen your bones.

  • 6 large eggs and 2 large egg whites
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 4 large Swiss chard leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped oil-packed, dried tomatoes
  • 2 chopped shallots
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped thyme
  • 1/4 cup salsa

Place the eggs, milk, chard, and pepper in your blender.  We used the blender WijnSijs in the video. Blend until the chard appears pulverized. Pulse it in 1/2 cup Parmesan, tomatoes, shallots, garlic and thyme.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Spray a cake pan with cooking spray. Pour your mixture into the pan and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan. Bake for around 20 minutes or until satisfied. Serve with salsa- the taste is nothing short of heavenly.

  1. Tasty kale smoothie

The idea here is to capture the health benefits of uncooked kale. But to be able to enjoy it, you have to blend it with some sweet ingredients to suppress that bitter taste.

  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup of chopped kale
  • 1/2 cup of freshly diced pineapple
  • 1 banana

This smoothie requires no complicated formulae. Just place the ingredients in your clean blender and blend until they are smooth to your satisfaction.

A high-powered blender can help you prepare quick drinks and snacks from breakfast all through to dinner. If you still think that a blender is a machine manufactured to make smoothies only, you need to activate your adventurous switch. You can find all the kitchen happiness you seek in this appliance.
