How I am earning money from home!

People always ask me how long I have been blogging. I started this blog in October of 2008. I just wanted to journal our family's fun times, my pregnancy, and I loved reading other people's blogs. I had no idea that this blog would lead me to a different career!


I have worked in the law enforcement field for over 5 years. It wasn't really something I planned on doing, I thought I was going to go into the medical field and work in nursing. But when it came down to it, I had 30k in student loans to pay and I had to stay where my income was stable and I did enjoy my job in law enforcement. Then one day something snapped.


One day at work, I just wasn't happy anymore. It wasn't my job. Or the people at my job. They are like family to me and I do love my job. But I missed my kids. I missed my husband. I missed them so much that as I type this I struggle not to cry. My kids and my husband are my entire world. And when I feel like I can't serve them and take care of them, I am not doing my job as a wife and a mother. Plus I LOVE to take care of them and enjoy them! They are my favorite people ever!

So I knew something had to change. I decided to work on becoming a stay at home Mom. I decided to budget, save, and I KNEW we would have to make sacrifices. Then it dawned on me, why can't I just do what I have been doing as a hobby as a full time job from home? Yes, we can always cut corners and be frugal because that is just who we are, but why can't I make money from home? I believe in the company and the products so I KNOW I can succeed!

 I think THIS video explains why I love what I do. I already loved the products, I love my team that I work with and I love helping other families. Why can't I help others reach their goals too? And one thing I love is teaching and training. Sometimes people start businesses because someone tells them about it and then off they go! They rarely hear from their "team" anymore. NO!!! You need to be a PART of something BIG! A TEAM! I want a close knit group that I can teach and train to be successful and help them reach THEIR goals and help THEIR families. And THAT is big! Because these families are seeing life changes! And I care about them so much! Not only in health, but in our planet, their homes, and their lives. And that is POWERFUL. It is about people, building relationships and making a difference. I didn't have that at my full time outside the home job.


I love it.


Now when I started, I treated it like a hobby. And I got paid like a hobby. Now I treat it like my job and my business. And I am being PAID like a business! HUGE difference! I am able to contribute to OUR family, pay off my student loans and I am on my way to staying at home.


Of course I could just stay where I am at. Stay at my job. Work 7pm-7am every night, never see my kids, never see my husband, always be exhausted from working the over night shift, or BE A MOM and help people! :) I pick the second one. It is so much more fun! :) I am loving answering emails, talking on the phone to new friends, helping families change like ours has and working with amazing women who are just AWESOME and that I LOVE spending time with and talking to and working with on a team! It has been so FUN!
