I have seen Kale chips all over blogs and I had to try them for myself! :) I am all about trying new healthy meals and snacks.
I got a bunch of kale at Whole foods for free with a gift card that a friend gave to me. I washed it really good with Basic H2 and tore all of the leaves off on the stem into bite sized pieces.
I drizzled some extra virgin olive oil and then added some seasoned salt. :)
I preheated my oven to 350 degrees and then baked it for 10-15 minutes.
They turned out crispy like chips and salty and yummy! :) I think this will make a regular rotation at our house!

I saw kale chips on Mark's Daily Apple and wanted to try but thought it might be a lot of trouble for something my family plows through so fast. However, you've inspired me. So, I'm trying it this week. Hopefully it will turn out like yours.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to try this for a while too! Looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteHi thanks for your comment! I'm returning the follow.
ReplyDeleteI know kale is super good for you; is it still nutritious in chip form? I love your header!

ReplyDeleteKale chips are one of my favorites! They don't look appetizing, but that crunch is awesome!
